Professor Wolfgang Drechsler receives Honorary Doctorate from Corvinus University Budapest

Wolfgang Drechsler, Professor and Chair of Governance at the RNS and Vice Dean of International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Tallinn University of Technology, received an Honorary Doctorate in Social Sciences from Corvinus University of Budapest this Friday, 22 February 2013.

The citation of Corvinus, one of the premier universities in Hungary, stated that this was i.a. “in recognition of his distinguished and internationally recognized academic achievements in the Social Sciences, first and foremost in the area of Public Policy and Management.” Photos from the ceremony can be seen here.

Drechsler’s doctoral lecture in the Corvinus aula addressed “Three Paradigms of Public Administration and Governance: Chinese, Western, and Islamic.”
