Prof. Kattel to receive prestigious teaching award


RNS Professor Rainer Kattel has been awarded the 2014 Alena Brunovska Award for Teaching Excellence in Public Administration by NISPAcee (Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe, the main scholarly and professional PA association in that region, also covering Central Asia and the Caucasus region).

NISPAcee Award Selection Committee selected Prof. Kattel “on the basis of his accomplishments in teaching excellence and leadership in pedagogy as well as his contributions to the practice of public administration and research.” He will receive the Award on at the NISPAcee Annual Conference in Budapest on 22 May 2014.

Previous Alena Brunovska Award winners from RNS are Prof. Wolfgang Drechsler (2001) and Prof. Tiina Randma-Liiv (2006).
