Abstract: In many countries, state-owned enterprises have played a vital role in the development of the local manufacturing sector. This study analyses the role that Estonian state-owned enterprise Eesti Energia has had in the internationalisation of local companies. A framework is proposed that can be used for in-depth analysis.
